Todd M. Simning is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Plowshares Development, Inc. and Kroiss Development, Inc. and has been with the company for over 5 years. Prior to starting Plowshares and Kroiss Development, Mr. Simning worked for 13 years in real estate and construction with experience in sales, field construction supervision, estimating/project management and development as well as working for a start up company in Colorado which managed foreclosed residential housing.
With a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Mathematics and Political Science Emphasis) from the University of Minnesota, Mr. Simning also holds multiple licenses and designations including:
- Real Estate Salesperson license – State of Minnesota
- Builders Contractor license – State of Minnesota
- REALTOR Designation – National Association of Realtors
- GRI Designation – National Association of Realtors
- Economic Task Force Board – City of Waconia - 2005
His consistent leadership skills, strong work ethic and entrepreneurial drive have contributed to the success of many ventures. He and his partner, Stephen Kroiss, have started and managed a building and development company with sales exceeding $30 million per year and have won numerous awards from the Builder’s Association of the Twin Cities including Reggie Awards and Trillium Awards. In addition, Mr. Simning is actively involved in the community and youth sports by coaching soccer, sponsor of the Waconia Hockey Association, has served on a local advisory board for the City of Greenwood and is an active donor in time and funds for the Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. |
