Stephen R. Kroiss is currently Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, of Plowshares Development, Inc. and Kroiss Development, Inc. and has been with the company for over 5 years. Prior to starting Plowshares and Kroiss Development, Mr. Kroiss garnered an early start in real estate construction, learning from his father and grandfather.  Mr. Kroiss is a third generation home builder and developer with over 18 years in the construction and development business. His experience and background includes general labor, field construction supervision, estimating/project management, real estate sales and development experience. 

With a Bachelor of Science in Business from St. John’s University, Mr. Kroiss holds his Real Estate Broker’s and Real Estate Salesperson Licenses and sits on the board of the Minnesota Developer’s and Builder’s Legal Action Fund – a part of the Minnesota Builder’s Association

As partners, Mr. Kroiss and Mr. Simning have started and managed a building and development company with sales exceeding $30 million per year and have won numerous awards from the Builder’s Association of the Twin Cities including Reggie Awards and Trillium Awards.  Mr. Kroiss was also a HAP Award winner which is only given to one recipient per year for recognition of outstanding business practices in terms of trust, communication, loyalty and ethics.  Please see attached portfolio of Plowshares Development and Kroiss Development.

In addition, Mr. Kroiss is actively involved in the community and with youth sports by coaching both soccer and basketball, sponsor of the Waconia Hockey Association and is an active donor in time and funds for the Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity.
